I don't know anything about the Sirians. You see, the people who may know something are T-O-O Q-U-I-E-T!!! I actually don't really care. I care about humans. The advantage to that is they are easy to find.
About eschatology, I've never considered the stories to be how-to manuals. I think even Lucifer is bored these days. Also, remember, that he is the tempter, not the temptee. He is proud, so say something like his shoes are nice or he has a fine noble nose and you'll be safe(r).
