"Fictional Internet
The inventor of the world wide web yesterday called for a new labelling system to help people distinguish fact from fiction on the internet.
Sir Tim Berners-Lee said he was worried at the way his creation is being used to spread lies, hoaxes, and urban myths.
Sir Tim invented the web while working at the Cern particle physics laboratory in Switzerland 20 years ago.
But while the net has become the world's definitive source of information it's 100 million web-sites are rife with errors and deliberate misinformation."
I have a question for Tim.
What does he consider a lie or urban myth?
Facts change Tim - you should know that - your a scientist. Look at the history of your kind.
DO NOT RESTRICT THE INTERNET !!!
If there is a restriction of internet content, then we could have been some of the privileged few to have been witness to free information in a society (be it right or wrong information - these distinctions change often). When else in history has this ever happened ? The privileged few have always had the upper hand of knowledge. In the words of Marshall "I'll leave it on that note"
