They don't try to hide that. The History Channel had a show called "The History of Video Games". They showed how the original first person shooter was written and developed not to market to the public. It was invented to install it at the recruiting centers for the various military. Then later on someone got the light bulb above their head and started marketing it to the public. They do not say on the special that this was done to condition and desensitize young people about killing. However, you would have to imagine that was the motivation.
They did not have high quality games like this when I was a kid. Instead we watched and played with G.I. Joe toys. You could buy the full on G.I. Joe complement of soldiers and weapons and have fake battles with your buddies who had all of the same stuff.
It is not a matter of if they are doing it, we are way passed that. Propaganda has been around since the pony express. We are all very lucky to be living in a time where we have the opportunity to discover the truth through the internet.
