Default Vaccination program cancelled in Australia

According to the top featured article and headline on page one of The Sydney Morning Herald on Friday (August 28th), the Australian government has announced that it is "scrapping" its swine flu vaccination program. The article quotes the government as saying that this is because of fears that the cost of paying damages to individuals as a result of anticipated litigation would be too high for the government to cope with.

I assume this just means that they've scrapped any plans to make the vaccination compulsory in Australia.
