War of the worlds was not a test to our reaction to aliens but instead it was an opportunity to use a tool to instill fear of aliens into the Human Being`s. Look at what they were doing aliens coming out and killing us. Come on Karen if they wanted us dead it would have happened long ago why wait till we gain all this technology and then do it . No they would have done it before when all we had were conventional weapons to defend ourselves.
There are no kids here reading so they are not going to pick up on the truth of the matter . And if we were to use your analogy of let them get broken in slowly by giving them dinosaur/reptile toys and transformer toys - get them used to the idea then we are never going to get beyond where we are now because there are new born`s coming into this world every day .
If we continue to hold back information much like the Government and our elite do then we are no better than them . If they were to go down in a plane crash or get hit by a bus then what the info die`s with them. So then I have to ask do they have anything or is it just another ploy .
