Hi InspectorGeneral -
I feel that
much more than ~15% of this planet's inhabitants has perception, i.e. 65-85%. I actually see the inverse of your statistic. For example, in difficult circumstances with poor water quality and limited resources:
'In the background outside the front door are the voices of around 25 local Africans sharing in worship. Their song is beautiful, and their voices are uplifting as they chant. God is here, this is what they all believe so strongly. Whenever you ask what is important in their lives, for 9 out of 10, the word “God” is what is at the top of the list.'

This joyful daily music is ever present in human lives. Happiness is a global phenomenon which is depressed by a profiteering war elite (15%) and its militaristic infrastructures. All modern empires like their fingers in people's a$$e$; in fact, require it. Ethics are not proprietary for 'select' groups - and it is the R-I-I-I-D-E which all humans can enjoy.
Ethics are a choice. No literacy required.
The rest, about origins or alternate models of the universe, are just new exciting possibilities or details.
