Re: The secret life of plants
Here are some updates from my garden.
First the broccoli plants:

And here is a close up, the first bit of the broccoli is just now starting to come:

And here we have some melon plants:

Underside view of the yellowish flowers:

And a melon I just noticed!

Heirloom tomato plants, a close up of one, notice the golden coloured dust, it was much more visible then in the photo.. yumm! I have a whole whack growing, expecting them to ripen soon:

Carrot tops, with rainbow chard in the background:

A widerangle view of things, tomatoes are lining the back fence, melons the left fence, and kale and other stuff growing here and there:

Lots of kale! Super high in all sorts of goodness:

Strawberries, these are near my house in the rose garden:

Now here is some kale that is seeding, I have been learning as I go, and one thing I noticed is the seeds are not ready when they are green like this:

Close up:

They are ready once they dry like this:

Close up:

But if you wait to long they turn to dust basically.
Here is a fresh rainbow coloured harvest of Kale and Chard

Chopped and all ready to go into the juicer which = joy!
