Some lovely images, H. Let me share something else regarding the meaning of that word. I speak Lithuanian, which is actually an older language than Sanskrit and scholars all consider it's the most closely related language to Sanskrit. In Lithuanian, namas is the word for "home", and "te" means something like "let this so be".
