Such a great topic Susan. I was drawn to it immediately. I have not listened to David's perspective. But I really just wanted to add here on this topic that I've learned there are many "shades" or "degrees" to what is called your higher-self.

I no longer look at my higher-self as a wiser, more open perspective - it truly is so much more, and many years ago I came to this breakthru - so to speak. It may sound like a delusion of granduer to some, but when you find that connection and are able to integrate beyond the identity, the beliefs, the perceptions of what consciouness is, and shake off the spectra of knowledge and wisdom . . then everything just clicks into the elegant flow and you know.

I think most are focused on the discovery and mastery of their "higher-self" but only a few, when ready, will expand into the something more.
