Dealing with the subjects which we do...takes more of a toll on people than we may realize. There is a spiritual battle...an inherent frustration...and an almost inevitable burn out. But do we shoot our wounded...to put them out of our misery?

The question I have...is when one leaves a forum such as this...with all of it's faults...where the hell do you go? When one goes elsewhere...don't you still have to deal with all of the same stupid problems? If one goes to another forum...there will just be different annoying, stupid, and ungrateful people.

I worry that we are not retaining good, experienced, and insightful commentors. It's sort of like a revolving door. Problem. Reaction. Exit.

Do take a break...and then come back...or at least lurk in the shadows...and comment as a guest from time to time.
