That awful food police bill, HR 2749 just passed the house yesterday. THEY TRIED TO PASS IT ON JULY 29, AND IT DID NOT PASS, SO THEN THEY CHANGED THE RULES TO NEEDING ONLY A 2/3 MAJORITY WITH NO AMENDMENTS SO THEY VOTED ON IT AGAIN YESTERDAY (JULY 30TH) AND IT PASSED!! WTF!!!!!

The first Patriot Act was passed using fear of terrorism. This 'Patriot Act' is hiding under a cloak of "food safety"

If this bill becomes law:
1. Healthy, normal farms are taken over by government as though they were run by criminals while contaminated corporate slaughterhouses are untouched.
2. The necessary freedom of individuals to live and grow food and be left alone are somehow suddenly destroyed, though they were never the source of any food contamination issue
3. The profit and control and power of corporations which are the source of increasingly nutrient deficient food will vastly increase

If it passes the Senate, expect organic food to be a thing of the past and we will be forced to eat GMO substandard 'food' which will not provide any nutrients to our bodies, leaving it susceptible to any virus the government throws our way. It will open the door to CODEX.
