Re: I sense a change
Sometimes the agony must precede the ecstacy. Facing reality is usually an essential component of problem solving. There is a euphoric change indeed...when one wrestles with a problem...and arrives at a solution. But the problems should not outweigh the solutions. This is a potential problem here in this forum. Each of us must find our own balance point. We may need to avoid negative threads completely for extended periods of time...just to maintain our sanity.
I sometimes think that someone who is completely engulfed in negativity can be a roommate with someone who thinks only happy and sunny thoughts...in an insane asylum! There is a deep ditch on both sides of the road. To me...a balance of positive and negative thinking is necessary for responsible and productive living. But positive solutions should always dominate the negative problems. I call this Positive Response Ability. If I could only practice what I preach...
