Wow! I thought I was anxious and depressed before I watched the trailer!

Scare the hell(and other unmentionable things) out of the people...and then provide the huddled masses with a savior and a plan of salvation...which involves complete submission to an unquestionable authority. Resistance is Futile. Hmmmmmmm.

If there are catastophic events and earth changes...I would lay the blame at the feet of malevolent humans and malevolent aliens...deliberately setting off nuclear devices under the polar icecaps, under fault-lines, and under the oceans...to produce events similar to those seen in the trailer.

Why am I so paranoid and suspicious? Any ideas Lucifer? You wouldn't have anything to do with all of this...would you? Lucifer??
