Now shamefully engulfing the continent

Diamonds in Liberia and Siera Leon
The virgin lands of Congo raped viciously

Now her soil home to tears
Bodies of defenseless scattered and buried
Soil to soil the melody of shame
As the globe stare with indifference
As if applauding the genocidal spree

But now tearful as betrayal is perpetuated
Its riches the only concern by the rest of humanity
