Perhaps they will claim the recession is averted by pointing to the bear market rally. Perhaps an 'event' will cause the market and the economy to go down for the third time...and they will place all of the blame on this damned 'event'. Look at weekly stock charts rather than daily charts...and notice the 50 period moving average. I'm not a pro...but could we be at a critical technical point where an 'event' would have maximum impact? As always...just speculation.
