Jnana, yes, I know the procedure well. I nicknamed my doctor/specialist Mac the Knife, he was not amused. I stopped going to see him because it was "I have booked you into surgery to remove this one...." After the fifth booking I decided enough was enough and refused to go back.

Good choice since it would seem that your doctor sucks. My doc was one of the top rated ones in the country for this procedure. He also trains other doctors. I would have been really annoyed if a repeat procedure were necessary. I've also noticed that dermotologists like those repeat visits and excisions a little too much. I lost a perfectly good piece of skin on my back because of a freckle that looked a little suspicious. Hang in there. You have an amazing support group here.
