Didn't have a chance today and sun is already down, but will try tomorrow. But looking at the second photo, it looks to me that it is illuminating some clouds between the object and the camera, so that would indicate that it is a real object. But I will defenately try again.

Btw, anybody know who I should maby contact to get these properly checked?
