Default Re: The secret life of plants

Blessings Mudra

Thank you for your kind words, I'm really touched...

"You are gifted dear !"
Naw, I'm just mad! {Well, so my family & some of my friends keep telling me! LOL I just try to keep an open mind and heart.}

"Your wisdom and love for our green companions has really no bounderies."
I'm just so glad I was able to overcome my 'worm-phobia' and eventually settle down in one place long enough to keep hold of my houseplants

"Keep posting here .It's a delight to read you ."
Thank you! I'll try and upload a photo of my Clivea in flower when I take one tomorrow!

I only have a tiny patch for flowers at the front of my house, and dug a narrow strip under the window at the back- I planted an onion that had sprouted in the vegetable rack, harvested 4 wee onions last autumn, so planted another, and it survived the winter - now flowering away, and I am so confident in it, I have entered "3 Onions" in our local agricultural Show in August! LOL
I planted another 4, and a clove of garlic that sprouted, and they're all doing really well too! Talk to them daily of course

Lunar Organics lunar gardening calendar - that's the key! Tells you when best to plant / fertilise etc.

And an old bit of folklore up here; Pulling weeds when the 'water is flowing' is much easier! {when the tide is coming in}

Happy Gardening all
