I guess if you look at the hyperdimensional physics involved in a predictable mass ejection then you might form a different opinion on the kind of effects it will have on people. Perhaps the coronal ejection is going to be driven by some sort of energy wave or pulse from Galactic Center / HuNabku. Then perhaps this sudden burst of energy will have some sort of profound effect on the consciousness of the planet and everything on it? Just throwing stuff out there.
