Good, Good news. Even though he took quite a hit and there was lots of blood, he has no broken bones, they think all he has is massive bruising and one deep wound. He is even able to walk , the doctors say he is so lucky that's all there is. He is on some medication for his injuries, he is one blessed companion, friend, and a wonderful soul.

I had parked my truck and was getting out and Pinot saw a squirrel and was off without thinking and I could see the whole thing unfolding in a horrible slow motion as the squirrel and Pinot raced across a street with very bad timing. The man who hit him with a truck felt so bad and did stop and help get my dog in my truck to take him to the doctor's. Neighbors came out from all over when they heard Pinot's cries and one jumped in my truck so I would not be alone and to help at the doctor's to get him out and carry him in. The kindness of everyone has touched my heart. I have to say I was a bit of a mess, from the whole thing. Thank you for all your prayers, and heartfelt sympathy to Jester for his loss.
