My comments are more generally directed. On another thread you said that the solution was a critical mass of Christ like beings. I agree with this. My point is, if you have that kind of discernment, it might be worth considering that you could be one of those beings if you are willing to do the work.

It also might be worth considering that Jesus did not start his mission until he was 30. Perhaps he spent the first 30 years working on himself and overcoming his own stuff, seeking enlightenment. When he had achieved enlightenment, he was able to do amazing things and according to him, we should be able to do greater things than these...

However, perhaps we must first follow his advice, seek first the kingdom of heaven (enlightenment) and all will be given unto you. And prior to that, we are among those who need saving rather than are ready to go out and help others out of their stuff.

The 'devil' (using your analogy), is not about to give up and go have a beer with you. That being said, from an enlightened state, there's no telling what you could do to help fallen beings surrender thir darkness and move into the light.. In the meantime, you're stuck in the middle, and as such, only going to accomplish so much.

that's not just a comment for you, that's for all of us. What is necessary to solve the problem is enlightened beings. So who are these people who have to do the work and become enlightened beings? Look no further than the mirror.
