But THIS is the 
important part of that post:  
I for one, DO think that Obama has a lot of intellect, charisma, and good intentions. And maybe he is actually working toward dismantling the system. But that's not the point. Deferring your own personal responsibility by believing in anyone but yourself is really still begging to be lead, instead of leading your own life. Its an abdication of your responsibility as a human.
I say, fine... let's see what Obama does, but in the meantime, lets not focus on IS HE GOING TO SAVE US and sit back and HOPE that our new father figure will sort everything out and we can just sit back and pat ourselves on the back for having believed in him.
BE the change you wish to see in the world, not HOPE FOR the change you wish to see in the world.
