Undulating Clouds

I noticed a photo of some clouds in Iowa on your website. Gavin Pretor-Pinney and his England-based Cloud Appreciation Society seem to think this is some new category of cloud. This phenomenon is nothing new. I took this photo March 25th, 2009 [in Fort Worth, Texas]. I hadn't seen clouds like this since May 3rd, 1999 near Moore Oklahoma, when a record breaking F5 tornado tore a twenty mile swath across the city, leaving a path of destruction one mile wide. Fortunately the storm in this photo fizzled out pretty quickly. I feel we're in for some violent weather action sometime this summer though.
