I read in a recent BBC article that the total amount of flu vaccine produced annually in the world is about 300 million doses. That would mean the US is buying up the entire world production for a year, or there has been some kind of massive ramp up in production capacity (LOTS more chicken eggs?). Makes me wonder if there isn't some minor factual error in the story at the top of this thread.
