Good resources, folks.

I'm a bit nervous about doing anything on my own as I want to see what the problem is. The hospital did not tell me if it was hyper or hypo in regards to known thyroid conditions. I suspect it's the latter.

Also, I'm not sure if it's ironic or not but I have had hair loss that's accelerated in the past 10 years and on and off bouts with depression. The depression is under control but the hair loss continues. I've read they can be linked to iodine deficiency.
