Senator Charles Grassley of Iowa (R) tries to put some language into a bill on housing, language that would allow the GAO to somewhat substantially audit the Fed's operations that have transpired in response to the financial crisis. According to Grassley, fellow Republican Richard Shelby of Alabama watered down
