Default Re: Have you ever wanted to see inside N. Korea?

Last year( I still had a TV then) I watched 2 documentaries about North Korea. One was made in 1970s when a delegation from Poland ( as a socialist/communist country) went there to visit. Another was about an eye-doctor who went there ( not long ago) to operate on people to restore their eyesight. He was allowed to stay there for a certain number of days. he managed to operate on about 100 people. But what was really sad was the attitude of those people towards Kim (whatever his name is). They worship him there like a god, his portraits are everywhere. Those whose eyesight was restored instead of being greatful to the doctor, they knelt in front of Kim's portrait, crying and thanking him, praising his goodness, greatness, etc. for allowing them to have a surgery and see again. Some also said that they were ready to fight against his enemies and die for him. In schools children learn only about his life, his family and recite poems praising him. Total brainwashing and mind-control.
