Now THAT is a classic abduction story!
If I was in your place now, I would consider to attend a hypnosis/regression session - As I feel very, very strongly that there is much more to the story than you are aware of. My skin's gosebumps now tells me that you know more than you think you remember.
Start to try to recollect other details of that night. Odd things like memories of seeing an animal outside the window in the evening. Strange comments from you parents. Etc.
But hey - be careful in pursuing this. Try to do it mainly together with someone who is experienced in these things...as you could expect to find memories released that you might not be very pleasant.
