Wow, I would have to strongly disagree with global warming being a bogus issue. I, too, have done a lot of research and personally know some climatologists/glaciologists. There is a definite increase in the sea temps as well as overall earth temps, the localized cooling or instances of ice extension in Antarctica are "weather" and "small potatoes." I happen to believe my friend who has conducted ice core sampling in person in Argentina, Antarctica, Mt. Kilimanjaro and others for nearly 50 years. It brings him to tears to see how quickly these massive glaciers have disappeared.
The term Climate change is used more frequently now because it includes increased hurricanes/droughts/floods and other natural disasters occurring more often and more severe in addition to the global temperature rise.
