Ironically, I have never considered the 10 commandments religious dogma except perhaps for the first commandment. Some how "Thou Shall Not Steel" "Thou Shall Not Kill" "Though Shall Not Covet thy Neighbor's Wife nor thy Neighbor's Property" seem to be a good set of rules to live by and some are already legal laws that we abide by today.
