Re: A MUST READ!! A Moratorium on Genetically Manipulated (GMO) Foods
Growing one's own food from organic or saved seeds is the only way to ensure that you are eating safe foods, not frankengene foods.
I would really like to explore the subject of vegetarianism and meat eating but I think that people's opinions are probably too polarised on this subject. I am not vegetarian and do not consider that my spiritual developement has been stymied by not being veggy. I have friends who are vegetarian for a variety of reasons. Some of them are extremely healthy and others look like they could do with a decent steak!!! I find that my diet has changed over the years and what suits me at the moment could be best described as a basic stoneage diet. Fruit, nuts, vegetables, eggs, dairy and some meat. Bread I seem to be allergic to also rice.
I think that at some point in my life my diet will change again and maybe my body will not require any meat. Diet to me is an individual affair. I have learned to avoid processed foods and sprayed fruit and veg. Diet to me is like celibacy, it should never be forced. Your body indicates what it needs.
Cheers
