The problem with this line of reasoning is that can you prove the channels ARE wrong?
This is like saying, "Can you prove that GOD exists?"
No, right now I can't -- if I could see him/her, talk to him/her, hear from him/her, and you could not, does that prove that GOD [fill in the blank] does not exist?
If I (or any channel, researcher, spiritualist, for that matter) say that in 2012 I/we/someone is going to "Ascend" to a new earth (earth2, an earth "2" vibrational levels above us, the same earth as now but in a "Golden Age", etc.), how can I prove I am "right" and how can someone else "prove" I am wrong?
Maybe we would both be right. There any many pointers that say, "We get what we believe in." In 2012, maybe what I believe is "true" will happen to me, and whatever you believe is true will happen to you.
There are better sources than I for arguing this point. I suggest a good recent book to read is "The Ark of Millions of Years - Vol. 3" (c2008) by Clark and Agnew.
Hey, even if I am wrong, big deal. I will either be dead (and know the truth) or be alive, and be feeling positive because I have followed a path of "Goodness" vs. non-goodness?... And, just in case, I have a big stash of supplies, enough land to grow crops on, precious metals, live in a nuclear free blast and fallout zone (but still have the Nuk masks, iodine and Geiger counter), and live on one of the few spots listed in most "Earth Change" maps as not being underwater.
