Instinct

As the sky darkens
And the animals scurry
Raindrops begin to fall
People begin to scream

A torrent rushes over
Not a soul has a chance
By pure instinct, they run
Far, far away far, far away

Run for the hills
Run for the woods
Run for cover
Your life depends on it

Gather up your loved ones
It's a whole new world
A whole new paradigm
And we never had a chance

Never had a chance in the old paradigm
Headed towards destruction and the worst possible
But a new hope was dawning
Even as people were running

Bound by love
And a desire to survive
They waded through the debris
And like a phoenix, everyone rose again

As the world came crashing down
And the systems fell into the sea
The power evaporated
And the elite met their destruction

It's a whole new world
If you're still sleeping, this is not a dream
Time to open your eyes, Welcome to reality
Will you be prepared

Because the sky's going to darken
And the rain's going to fall
The day's going to end
And a new one will begin

We can build a new reality
We can break out of this prison
We can re-make the world
We can make it rise out of chaos, filled with love
