Oh Carmen - thank you! I do love Arabs. (It's just that I'm tall - and they're usually 14.2 hands.) They're agile, tough, super-endurance. And now those are beautiful heads ... It's interesting what you say about the black horse spirit. I hadn't noticed it, but will pay attention. That mare reminds me of a cat I had, who adopted and nursed other babies, taught them all how to hunt. It's so funny that the mare didn't like to losing her riders, or even having any wobbly ones!
