(I have always wondered about that scripture because it seems to me that after the pigs died the demons would be back where they were to begin with - discarnate. What is the point of them going into the pigs for only a minute or two?)

The demons are symbolic of the false doctrine ,that has no place in a man who seeks enlightenment. Therefore these ideas are cast into the swine who love playing in the mud of material Xsistence.
