The moon dreamily beams
from evenings sleep
movements of passion
the dawn that frees
the earth of her sleep
the rose of day rises
light of the east
full bloom awaken
the smells of day
with your warmth
entice us with your perfume
kiss dry the dewdrops
upon the grasses
send your breeze
to vanquish the stillness
of the night
lift wings of flight
and song on wing
rejoice in the day
the day breaks but
my hearts repaired
to face another day
