I suspect that it happens all the time. That, and blackmailing, intimidation, exposing embarrassing personal histories, etc, etc. This sort of exchange is probably a good thing...once in a while...as long as it doesn't get out of control. It helps us to learn how to think and respond under pressure. This may be a very valuable skill in the coming years.
