I have no issues with this Truth. I do not know much about hydroponics. It just that the soil and its organisms, mineral balance etc is quite complex and the doubts I have is about replicating that complexity to grow plants that are nutritionally dense. It would be an interesting excersize to test for nutritional density with a refractometer.(which is a way to test for healthy, nutritionally dense plants)

I take your point also about pollution and looking after the planet. Building humus up in soil is what has to happen to solve the problem of carbon emissions. Soil has to be understood and valued more.
