This logic doesn't hold for me.
The war on drugs is nonsense and jailing people for use/possession of drugs is stupid, and should just stop, period. We don't need legalization of drugs to accomplish anything that could be accomplished by just knocking off the oppression.
And legalizing drugs so they can be taxed is the same, in my books. Taxes are used mainly to enrich the PTB and deprive the rest of us so we are too busy to notice what the PTB are up to.
The answer is for us to simply "fire" the PTB and then just live naturally, in mutual cooperation and respect.
Then is someone wants to take some drugs, that's there business. No muss...no fuss.

Rock music is a form of expression.
Legalization of drugs would actually benefit the world more than it would hurt because we could tax and regulate the hell out of those drugs, thus ending the "war on drugs" and reducing the population of people in jail merely for crimes of possession.
