jaguar, it's good to be skeptical and you bring up some valid points. There is no way to be sure that the "credible source" these two cite even exists. All one can do is put lots of little puzzle pieces together and see what kind of big picture starts to emerge.

The Patriot Act, the ability of the president to declare martial law for almost any reason, the stationing of a US army brigade in the states, marines "practicing" in roadblocks alongside police, the suppression of demonstrators at the national conventions, increased surveillance, the so called bailouts and drift towards nationalization of banks, etc., etc., etc., all point in a certain direction, and it isn't taking us where the good old US of A used to be.

I presume the shutdown of the banks would be temporary in order to install a new currency and/or a different type of system (e.g., fully electronic, no cash). The goal is total control. The banking shutdown will be a manufactured crisis designed to achieve that goal. They will make us desperate, then come in with a "rescue" plan. The selling points will be safety and convenience. Look up some of the Aaron Russo videos on youtube if you want another point of view on the purpose of fully electronic banking as told by someone who knew some of the Rockefellers.

This certainly could be BS, but it isn't the only report of this type out there. I would love to hear from people with contacts in police departments elsewhere about whether they are getting FEMA briefings as well. If this is real, it would be widespread.

The Aug - Sept time frame is not far off. We'll know soon enough.
