Thanks p and l, there's a lot of good info here! Yes we need to stop the flow of guns and drugs across our borders, but as far as the drug war spilling over into the US, It's just not going to happen. Yes we might have a few problems with it but it won't get to a serious all out war with the drug cartels in our country.
We're too well armed, militarily and in just about every household. We just won't let it happen! I think people in other countries don't realize how well armed americans really are, and that a lot of us grew up with guns in our homes.
It's just like the gun ban that's being talked about, it just won't happen, there's far to many to even think about confiscation, it's a rediculous idea.
