Love is a hard word to come to terms with and understand. We have love for our wives and husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends, then there is love for our relatives which is somewhat different. There is love we have for pets and then love for friends. Then there is another kind of love we have for our fellow humans. An individual who has each of these types of love, is aware of their subtle differences.

Love is not necessarily the same for each of us, but one thing that sets it apart from other emotions is that it is good, positive and uplifting. To love someone, gives one a warm and contented feeling. To be loved by someone is the most precious thing imaginable. No other emotion has the power of healing that love has.

To give it and receive it, is our reason for living. The more we give, the more we receive. With love, comes peace. The two can't be separated.
