The entire book is written in this esoteric code,with many layers. The secrets are in the secretions of the human body.This is why we have to work out our own salivation, or salvation.Salvation comes from the word salivia.Sal is the salt that preserves.

The allegory says that if salt looses its savor or savior,then what good is it. This brings light to the meaning of crossing jordan, or spinal column . The entrance to jordan was experienced by first crossing the dead sea ,at the base of the spinal column.

There is this thick oily, and fishy substance that we as humans secrete in this area, kind of like a petroleum and salt mixture.
