The problem is that hardly anyone wants to do their homework. It's not that they're lazy, as they're channeling their energy in knowledge about football (in my case speedway when I was a kid) and other easily accessible information that is out there. It's called having a hobby.

The rest of the time thay beleive that they need to hold down a job and have a certain lifestyle. That's the competative side manifesting itself.

Also many beleive that they should behave in a certain religious way. Their submissive side.

Whilst you are concentrating on these aspects of your life, you're missing other things.

It's merely a case of priority and availability.

Best regards,

Steve

Yes you make a good point Steve. I don't blame people for being absorbed in the survival struggle and then becoming immersed in hobbies that help them destress and recover from the daily grind - we all do this and it is a necessary part of life on this plane. I just find it interesting how the sheep will keep the other sheep in line and be the proverbial sheep-dog by stringently opposing anything that contradicts the status quo and by ridiculing those who question the norm. I often find myself applauding the genius of those pulling the wool over people eyes that their mind game is so successful that it polices itself. Too true that we certainly don't have all the answers just because we are on this forum however we are open to other perspectives and sadly that is a rare quality. It takes a massive amount of courage to be prepared to have your whole world view turned on it's head and I don't blame people for defending their way of life. It just seems that the vast majority are not open to alternative views and while these views remain in the minority it will be difficult to have a mass change in consciousness. I've heard it said that it would take something indisputable to happen to change things but then these days most things are disputable. Christ I could be completely wrong about all this but I am always open to having my opinion changed if the right evidence comes along. If I wasn't then I wouldn't even be here!!
