Default Re: Has Avalon been hijacked by the right-wing noise machine?

politics is one of if not the main playing field for polarity. The strongest tendencies towards thinking and acting out opposing poles that I've recently seen, are in politics. Maybe that's why it's called Pol-itics.

So to have anything to do with politics, is to enter that playing field and be instantly polarized to one degree or another, knowingly or not.

Religion and economics are a couple of others.

That must be why they hold so much attention. people trying to work out their issues in these areas.

Just notice when you start chatting about "this side or that side" and what they are or aren't doing, and what they represent, and blah, blah, blah ad nauseum, that you are polarized, which means "for" something, and "against" something else.

That's totally "old school" as they say. The new paradigm don't play that way.

So it's fine that we're here working this stuff out amongst friends, rather than out smashing windows and burning police cars.

No. Avalon has not been hijacked for any purpose. It's here for us to get together and figure out how to facilitate the changes which are coming, like it or not.
