Default Re: Claimed UFO Crash Debris

Interesting! I know nothing about Van De Graaff machines or their effects on matter but it brings to mind a demonstration I saw while I was at a technology expo in 1968. The particular stand, to which I was drawn by the aroma of bacon frying, was demonstrating microwave ovens. I was amazed to see the bacon on a paper plate in the microwave oven. The bacon was cooked to perfection but the paper plate was unharmed.

BUT, then came the demonstration that puzzled me. An aluminum frying pan was placed on a wooden stool. Beneath the stool and pointing upward was what appeared to be a standard desk fan. Within a few seconds of the fan being switched on, the frying pan began to levitate and once again, the bacon was cooked to perfection.

Now this demonstration may well be a common effect of some electronic device, but it was sure an eye opener to me. Anybody have any clues?
