I would agree with you Dantheman62 regarding the
diversity of opinion regarding the dawning of the
Age of Aquarius. Just google "age of aquarius" and
you will see how wide that opinion ranges.

A friend rang me last night to say she had been
told the time was 7.25 a.m. G.M.T. today Sat.
14th Feb. I ran up some charts this morning
but could see nothing particularly remarkable.
There is a Mars/Jupiter conjuncion in Aquarius
also Chiron, Neptune and Sun conjunct in
Aquarius. However, whichever house system
you use the Moon is in the 8th house, not the
seventh (as per the song - which is actually
from a prophecy by Nostradamus.)

My own feeling is that big events in astrology
do not usually occur on a particular day - they
emerge gradually and we gradually feel their
effects more and more. What they
symbolise manifests in an increasing manner
and we are drawn into that energy.

From this standpoint I would feel the Age of
Aquarius is already with us, for example, this
Forum and the topics discussed are very
much in tune with what the Aquarian Age
is all about - groups coming together,
humanity beginning to work together as
a community rather than just as individuals,
the emergence of new technology, and the
willingness to go down new and untrodden
paths.

The new wave of change is symbolised
at the moment by an opposition between Saturn and Uranus -

Saturn representing the old structures, forms and
institutions, Uranus(the ruler of Aquarius) being about
"breaking out" - change, refusing to stay stuck
in the old ways.

The opposition aspect denotes
tension between these two ways of being, and
can't you just see this happening everywhere.
Structures, all that seemed reliable being
torn down - and many,if not most people,
being unable to contemplate putting something
totally new in their place.

This astrological
opposition of Saturn and Uranus has been
around for 4 to5 months and will continue
for most of the year. So CHANGE is in
the air everybody, and we are called to
help to balance out these energies by being
part of the change and staying strong as
these opposite forces play themselves out.

What wonderful times we live in!

(would love to get some smilies up at this point,
but they are not working for me. Oh, well,
more to learn!)
