Im up in Inveness and agree whole heartedly that we are where we are supposed to be. Eckhart Tolle who wrote the Power of Now is one of my main influences and I do my best to remain in the present moment.

Best wishes Chris
Yes Chris I found putting the cork in the bottle and keeping it closed tough at first but well worthwhile....a fascinating journey. I had a major down in 2005 when I came aware that the world/universe wasn't as I thought and for a while I thought I'd gone completely mad. Gradually I discovered I was not alone with my thoughts due to sites like this.

I haven't read Echart Tolle but have an idea of the gist of his work...it's on my to read list. I'm a fan of Buddhist Philosophy which is also a lot about the present moment. It was doing a Psychology Degree through the Open University which got me very interested in Philosophy and set me on the path to becoming an independant thinker. When I started out on the degree I intended to become a Psychologist but that plan has been abandoned due to an aversion to mainstream scientific psychology. I prefer trying to support and help people in the real world as they cross my path not over a desk during a pre arranged appointment under a paradigm that aims to "fix" people so they can fit into a broken world. Just my view.
Kind Regards
Helen
