I have to say Susan, your thread title caught my eye, and got me thinking about the heart!
First off, the term 'ACEofHEARTs' is of one of my favorite songs from Marty Balin (of Jefferson Starship fame). It was originaliy titled "hearts" but due to copy right problems, was changed to "ace of hearts", but more on this in a moment!

Now, what and how does this term (ace of hearts) apply for me? Ten or more years ago, the term of dwelling in the heart, literally meant my private dwelling. Like an apartment or home, I got up in the morning, prepared for my day and left it. I would retreat there from time to time during the day (when I needed), never inviting anyone (bacK) in. It was my respite space, from a world (I felt) was totally mad! It got to the point where it got harder and harder though, to find my way back (home) at night. So I finally made a decision, to stop playing the "game", of pretending too be human. At first it was very difficult, I had to open all the doors and windows into my (heart) self. It has taken many years too strengthen (not harden) the walls too this most precious sanctuary within me; Now looking back, I would never have had settled for, or had it any other way! It is extremely important to learn this lesson sooner instead of later (as in my case), if one wishes to fight the good fight aganist the desperate evil, that has prevailed and preys upon us. By strengthing your heart from inside out, you can stay there all the time (sort of working from home), right Susan
