Imagine a circle which represents 24,000 years. Divide it into 12 equal parts. These are the signs of the Zodiac. Each sign takes up 2000 years. In 500 AD the earth entered Pisces. Thus it will be 2000 more years before we enter the next sign which is the Sign of Aquarius. Therefore the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius is the year 2,500.
